Alexa, Wash my Hands

Hands-free help in the kitchen.

Good hygiene is more important now than ever, so the folks at Delta Faucet have taken a small step with their VoiceIQ™ Faucet to make it a little easier for you and your family to practice CDC-recommended handwashing techniques.

Ask your connected home device (Alexa, Google Home) to “ask Delta to wash my hands” or to “activate handwash mode”:

  • The water will begin to flow. Run your hands under the stream to wet them.
  • The water will turn off for 20 seconds while you wash with soap.
  • Wash your hands until the water turns back on.
  • The water will turn back on for a 10 second rinse.

This same faucet’s voice activated features can be directed to dispense exactly the amount of water you need for a recipe as well. How Jetsons is that? Or, ask it to warm water for you personally by setting personalized instructions. Think of everyday tasks like filling an espresso pot, your dog bowl, a watering can, etc. “Alexa, ask Delta to fill the spaghetti bowl for me personally!” Yes, it’s as simple as that.

This faucet comes with touch technology as well. Meaning you are able to switch it on, simply by touching any area of the faucet. This is particularly helpful whenever your hands are full or dirty as you’re busy juggling  kitchen chores.

Visit Immerse to witness this and other technologies available in kitchen faucets. We have re-opened for appointments May 18, strictly adhering to all St. Louis county’s guidelines. For our protocols, visit this page.

Keep your head up, wash your hands well, and enjoy time with your loved ones (even if it’s virtual). We will all get through this together.
